Our Story
Born in a Punjabi kitchen.
Desi Taste Valley started where every real recipe starts, in a family kitchen, with a grandmother who insisted that “store-bought” would never taste like the real thing. She was right.
For decades we kept those recipes alive at home: mango chutney cooked over an open flame every summer; mixed preserve cured on a sun-drenched terrace each winter; green chutney made fresh for every chaat. Friends and neighbours kept asking for jars. Eventually we listened.
What we do differently.
We cook in small batches because that is the only way the flavour comes right. Real fruit, real jaggery, real mustard oil, toasted spices, no shortcuts, no artificial colours, no synthetic preservatives. Each jar is hand-filled and hand-labelled.
We choose ingredients from local farms wherever we can. Mangoes from Multan in season, plums from the northern valleys, fresh coriander from a grower we have worked with for years.
Seven jars. One philosophy.
If we would not put it on our own table, we will not put it on yours. It is that simple.
